common questions
is this the same app as "smoke quit timer" on the app store? yes. the app store listing reads "smoke quit timer" so people searching for it can find it; the brand is quitimer.
my data disappeared. if you uninstalled the app or used settings → data → delete all data, the data is gone — it lives only on the device. there is no cloud backup because there is no cloud. on iOS, restoring an iCloud device backup will bring it back if one exists; otherwise it cannot be recovered.
the timer reset on its own. the daily wait grows by five minutes each calendar day. if you saw it jump, that's the daily progression — the toast at the top of the screen confirms it.
I logged a cigarette by accident. tap "undo" on the toast within four seconds. after that, you'd need to wait for the next session — there's no manual log editor in v1.
does it work on android? yes. iOS and android both, same app, same behavior.
does it work on web / desktop? not in v1. mobile only.
can I sync across devices? no. sync would require a server, and the privacy stance forbids that. in practice this means quitimer is one-device-at-a-time. that is intentional.
I want feature X. please email. the product is small on purpose, but I read every message and v1.1 will be shaped by what users actually ask for.
bug reports
include your phone model, your iOS or android version, and what you were doing when it happened. screenshots help. there are no crash reports collected, so if the app crashed, your description is the only signal I get.
